§01 · Features

Everything in one place. Nothing in the way.

01

Library.

See and manage all your installed add-ons for every Blender version in one clean dashboard — no more guessing what's where.

02

The Vault.

One add-on, many versions. Stored locally with real names, descriptions, and compatibility info — not as a pile of near-identical zips.

03

Install & your way.

Drag a zip onto the Library, browse to one on your computer, or install from the Vault with full add-on info at your fingertips. Multiple paths, same clean result.

04

Automatic update tracking.

Swichr watches for newer versions of your add-ons and lets you know when one is out — so you never miss a release, even if the marketplace doesn't email you.

05

Compatibility warnings.

Clear alerts when an add-on doesn't match your Blender version — before you install it, and after, if you upgrade Blender later.

A closer look

Know before you click.

Swichr surfaces the version mismatch in plain language — what's required, what you're running, and which add-ons need attention.

06

Add-on groups.

Organize add-ons into groups like Hard Surface, Rendering, or Animation, and activate a whole group in Blender with one click.

A closer look

Switch your whole toolkit at once.

Activate a group and every add-on inside it turns on in Blender. Switch groups when you switch tasks — only the tools you need, when you need them.

07

Community links & personal notes.

Found a tutorial that nails an add-on? Share it — anyone else with that add-on will see it. Keep private notes for yourself too, for anything worth remembering.

§02 · How it works

Three steps. You're up and running.

01

Install Swichr

Small companion app. macOS and Windows.

02

Point it at your Blender

Pick the Blender versions you use. Swichr scans each one and finds the add-ons you already have.

03

Set up the Vault

Choose a folder where your add-on zips live. That's it — Swichr is ready, with or without Blender open.

§03 · FAQ

Questions, answered.

Up to you. Keep it open if you want to toggle add-ons or whole groups on the fly while you work. Prefer to close it after setup? That works too — your changes stick either way.
No. Swichr reads your add-ons, organizes them in its own view, and only changes things when you explicitly act — install, switch versions, or toggle. Your files stay yours.
Wherever they already do. Swichr reads from your standard Blender add-ons folder, and respects any custom paths you've set up. Nothing moves unless you ask it to.
Yes. Each Blender version gets its own library, so a 3.6 setup never mixes with your 4.5 setup.
Simple rule: if you can install it, it's an add-on — and Swichr handles it. Some asset libraries (Sanctus, Polyhaven) ship this way too. Raw asset files don't install, so they belong in Blender's Asset Browser.
Use the Store tab inside Swichr — affiliate links to add-ons. A share of each purchase funds Swichr.
It's free.

Free for personal or commercial use. No limits. No catch.
